Foster Gamble is a direct descendant of the late James Gamble, soap-maker and founder of the U.S. consumer goods corporation, Proctor and Gamble. Growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio, Gamble lived his childhood in a position of privileged and power where he attended elite private schools and attended his collegiate career at Princeton University. Groomed to be a leader in the establishment, Gamble chose a different path.

As a young boy, Gamble had an inquisitive personality that led him to envision a world scenario of a universal energy source. A lifelong journey in the pursuit of knowledge, Gamble involved himself in many intellectual subjects. Discontent with the current structure of power in the world and the massive global suffering, Foster Gamble set to make a documentary that unveiled the true reality of our existence in the 21st century.

Today I had some time to do some deep reflection. I was reviewing some of the writings of my friend Dan Pink and just came across his latest review of this incredible new book he is recommending. And you know what, he is right once again. So I started reading The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg. I am fascinated by consciousness, awareness, sleep and wakefulness. Sometimes I must admit it is hard to tell the difference as the awareness seems quite like a sleep state at times. Especially when I look at my habits. My rinse, wash, dry and repeat cycle of ‘doing’. Charles says it nicely here ….

And when he starts talking about the habits of CEOs and Scientists and our Leaders, well I must say this is my latest ‘must read’ recommendation for anyone interested in attaining higher states of awareness while attaining your personal goals. Plus, I love the way they are marketing this book. Nice video, great cover and diagrams, wonderful reviews, accessible information on a personal topic we can all relate to. I am going to use these techniques starting now!

As an internet marketer, business manager and executive coach one of my favorite activities is helping create, write, launch and market a book. As the landscape  has changed so dramatically, it is both easier to get a book out and more difficult to have it become a best seller. As a New York Times Best Selling author myself, I feel I have much to offer and still much to learn, as the world is transforming into a more efficient publishing model.

The books I am working on currently, for my clients and myself are more exciting than ever. My latest Complete Idiot’s Guides will be out in stores this year and I will write about them here as well as promote them on our social sites. There will be three coming out from me this year. The CIG to Green Smoothies, the CIG to Low Fat Vegan Recipes and the CIG to Juice Fasting. These books will be incredible for content, recipes and readability. It is also my hope that they help everyone create a more healthy life for themselves by using the easy guides the folks at Penguin put out. I am grateful they have allowed me to be a key author for them.

I have three consulting clients I am working with currently, where writing and launching a best selling book is a key part of that particular engagement. There will be much news from me and these incredible authors in the coming months too.

We have just finished the copy on our latest book, The Secret of Paradise. I am pleased to announce that I am a
co-author with Patricio Tamariz of Bahia, Ecuador in our new work, The Secret of Paradise. The book is pure inspiration and intrigue and I know you will love it. This is destined to be one of my best creative endeavors ever and we will begin the publishing and marketing of this book on June 1, 2012. I was blessed to be at the Natural Food Expo in Anaheim March 2012, and run around with about 50,000 health seekers. Well, some are seeking other things than health, like money, fame or just a good time. One thing that struck me is the various ways organizations are structured in the movement. As a CEO level consultant to many brands I enjoy providing leadership, direction, capital, business development and guidance, I study the winners, losers, hangers on and long time leaders. I am happy to say that the cottage industry side of the business is still thriving. The Corporatism that many brands are under is also quite evident. And the rare and fascinating family dynasty is still around, albeit in quite a limited way. While many sell out, witness New Chapter selling to PnG this month, the families of the Bronners, Kushis and Braggs remain true to their roots. The One Hundreth Anniversay of Braggs’ pretty much says it all. A great party, a fabulous mission and a leader that just cannot give enough. Amazing what a dynasty built on Apple Cider Vinegar can create! Patricia Bragg is truly a shining light and as she is in her foundation years of creating endowments for others to benefit from, it is a true joy to feel her true spirit.
